Neat People vs. Sloppy People

somewisdom:

by Suzanna Britt.

This is courtesy of Kristen. I thought it was pretty accurate as far as the neat side goes. I can’t speak for the other half except to say it makes no sense — to me.

I’ve finally figured out the difference between neat people and sloppy people. The distinction is, as…

quote
Both you and I have to find out if we’re the type of people to find fulfillment in the work that we do or outside of it. If you’re the type of person to want your pleasure outside of the workspace, than it will not matter what you do. You are going to only see work as work and little more. Whereas, if you find pleasure and fulfillment in your work, then the costs now will seem relatively insignificant. Of course there are gray areas to my black and white scale, but it still comes down to what makes you more happier in the long run.

Doris

I miss you! Wherever you are in the world.

Me:

Client: “Is e-mail on the internet? I have no internet, can I still read my e-mail?”

Me: “Well yes, you must be able to get online to view your e-mail.”

Client: “Oh, dear. I can’t see my…

Ben Pieratt's Blog: In Praise of Quitting Your Job

(Alternate title: The New Work Ethic)

I wrote this email to a friend a few weeks ago, and then the topic came up again last night with an old buddy who was frustrated with his work. He seemed to appreciate what I had to say, so I figured it might be worth sharing:

Thinking about your…
